We believe in life, love, family, and giving back. So we created A Chosen Life Adoption Grant to help lessen the financial burden of domestic infant adoption for Christian families in the U.S.
Many people don’t realize how much it costs to adopt a child. Adoption is expensive — as much as $30,000 to $40,000, or even more — we believe it’s the best option for giving a child a chance at life. We are passionate about bringing children and families together. We want to make infant adoption more accessible for married couples who need financial assistance to move forward with the adoption process.
“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your children may live.”
– Deuteronomy 30:19
In my own life, God has shown me that love conquers all and forgiveness is essential to living a joyful life.
In the spring of 1996, I was not walking with God. I was dating a girl and she became pregnant, not once, but twice in a six-month period. We aborted the first baby, and when she was pregnant again, I was ready to settle down and marry her. However, she decided to abort the second baby and go her own way. While this was very painful for me, I have since made peace and found forgiveness.
Five years later I reached out to her again. We forgave each other but the procedures and our decisions still weighed heavy on our hearts and minds. We both felt God’s forgiveness through prayer, which helped us move forward.
My wife, Krysten, and I have been married since 1998 and God has blessed us and our three children. In 2009, Krysten and I had the opportunity to help our friends who were in the process of adopting and needed financial assistance. That experience made us think how amazing it would be to help other families in similar situations.
Thirteen years later, that dream has never left our hearts. Through God’s abundant love, we are now helping other families in their pursuit of adopting a child by providing them with adoption grants.
“And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches…”
